It’s been more than a year since the launch of PRIME and we made it a goal that we would start making merchandise for friends, fam, fans and followers at the year two marker. When we wore our samples, we always received positive feedback whether it was from automotive or streetwear enthusiasts. For this project, we wanted to develop high-quality merchandise made in the USA. We think you deserve apparel that we would personally buy so our shirts are printed on fine jersey American Apparel 100% cotton shirts for durability and comfort. Printed in Brooklyn, our shirts reflect an original design we made for ourselves and one that reflects the Concrete Original award we fabricated and gave out to Gene at TunerEvo. We have made 100 pieces in total and will do another batch mid summer.
One person who has been relentless in pursuing his passion for photographing some of the most beautiful women has been Mark Enriquez (@1LLEST). I’ve known him for a few years now and it was obvious I wanted our merchandise to be blessed by his talent. For this photo session, we collaborated with a few people to make it happen. Set in Brooklyn, on a rooftop and an atrium we went to work. Despite the cold, both our model were absolute professional and gave us the street style aesthetic we wanted. Thanks to P.LUXE for the location and jackets! Enlisting the help of our friend Vin from VIN Photography, we have put together a video which documents the planning necessary for producing our first designs.
Design 001: Classic PRIME
We didn’t haphazardly pick an icon to represent PRIME. There is actual meaning behind it. The triple pyramid represents our trials as automotive enthusiasts and our strive to always produce better cars than our previous builds through, knowledge, community, and style. Much like the great pyramids of Giza ( Khufu, Khafre, Menkaure) our cars are often products which others see. The process we take with our cars are often what is missing and it’s our intent to tell that story. Additionally, our cars with distinct performance and styling cues are up to interpretation much like these great pyramids. While some believe they were built to celebrate the lives of their pharaohs, others point to structures used for functionality.

Design 002: Concrete Original
A Concrete Original is an enthusiast or owner of a car that values elements of classic Japanese tuning but through personalized interpretation and originality. The design is inspired by the Bosozoku culture of Japan. The symbolism and artwork of each gang represented unity. The path that person had chosen for their life was unmistakable to society. That concept resonated with our concept for PRIME.
